It is a surprise that this young star from Barbados can exude such
classic and elegant style. But style did not knock on Rihanna’s door
overnight. Rihanna style has gone through an evolution. She’d come out
from rugged denim skirts and jeans to elegant designer dresses. Who
would have thought that she would come to her fashion senses? If you
could see Rihanna from the day she stepped in Hollywood, you would not
imagine she can adopt such style and glamour.

Rihanna started out in the music industry with awesome talent but
without much of a style. She was often seen with street fashion gone
astray. That translates to baggy jeans, denim mini skirts and lacy
underwear that she’s not shy exposing a bit. She was also fond of
midriff and cut off tops that displays her small waistline and belly
button. She might get attention with this kind of style but not the
approval of renowned stylists and fashion critics.

Today, you would not see Rihanna wearing unbranded top or jeans. You
would always see her wearing designer dress and couture clothing. This
is a big jump from the belly bearing style to designer clothing she
wears on the red carpet.
An example of her current fashion style: On the TRL show when she sang
one of her hits, Unfaithful, she wore a Dolce & Gabbana dress in loud
pink colour with a bustier detail. She wore dazzling gold earrings with
very elegant pumps from Giuseppe Zannoti.
It is no surprise that Rihanna graced TV shows after TV shows with such
elegance. She would often wear classic diamond drop earrings and her
hair brushed up and pinned back in a nice clean bun. She never flutters
and would always stand confident before the intimidating US crowd before

not stripped it all off unlike most teenage stars like Britney Spears
and Christina Aguilera. Most pop stars took the “bare-all” route, but

Rihanna’s new sense of fashion syle is the stylist Mariel Haenn. The
same stylist was with Rihanna when she was seen on MTV’s My Super Sweet
16. Rihanna’s style as we see it today is a result of collaboration of
her stylist and her own personal taste.
Even as a young bright star, Rihanna still works on a budget for her
clothes. She does not keep most of the pricey designer clothes she wears
and her stylist would even go to less expensive accessories store like
Forever 21 or Damselfly to buy trendy add-ons at less cost.
Eventually, Rihanna received endorsements offers from top fashion
lines in the US. Among which is the Miss Bisou brand. A lot of fans
appreciate Rihanna’s fashion sense- she can look sexy without showing
